"Before Haxson, I was a nobody" - Woodruff, CEO of Haxson. I realized I only worked for paychecks, rather than my dream. So I took off and started my own workshop four years ago. Fortunately, I was able to connect to an angel investor, and get started fast.
Our team is full of like-minded and driven individuals. We're simply a group of people that wants to make an impact on people's lives, no matter how small.
We have been through a lot, for the past two years. On top of developing our own products, we also fund other teams to develop theirs, so we can make as many dreams come true as possible.
We started Haxson to create something that could potentially change our lives, allowing us to live, work and study in a much comfortable environment. More features, more useful life hacks, integrate into our designs, and all-around providing the ultimate comfort possible.
We spend most of our time at home, and we want to improve that experience as much as possible. In our eyes, it only makes sense to make home the most ideal place to be.
Q: How do you make sure Haxson AirFan is quiet enough for sleep?
A: After the first prototype, we enlarged the diameter of outer motors and blades, lowering motor speed. Also, a newer, much quieter motor is implemented alongside a damping kit, creating fewer vibrations, and noise overall.
Q: How loud is AirFan?
A: At the highest setting, 65dB, captured with a decibel meter 1” away.
At the lowest setting, as low as 25dB, equivalent to rustling leaves.
Q: How hot is the heating component? Will it burn my hand?
A: We use a PTC ceramic heating plate, which can reach up to 200°C (392°F) on the surface, with a power output of 900W.
However, multiple insulation plates and inserts ensure Haxson's surface cannot cause any harm.
Q: What about overheating protection?
A: We have a four-part preset protection protocol:
First trigger at 40℃ (100.4°F), second at 50℃ (122°F), third at 70℃ (158°F), and a final one at 90℃ (194°F).
Q: Any details about the speaker?
A: The internal magnet speaker runs at 15W, and delivers punchy sound at great volume, including ability to stereo pair.
Q: Any plans for HomeKit/Siri integration?
A: Unfortunately, not for now. Currently, Alexa and Google Assistant are supported.
Q: Have you thought to maybe include a wireless charger, so I can put my phone on top of the clock and charge it overnight?
A: Yes, we have. We actually thought this through, and chose not to. The reason is, due to the slim bar form factor of Haxson, which allows for multiple orientations, implementing a wireless charger would be difficult to do right.
Q: Does Haxson include an AUX port?
A: Unfortunately, no. It has a USB port for charging.
Q: Does it have an ionizer installed?
A: Yes, please refer to our purification section for more details.
Q: What power socket do you provide?
A: We provide sockets for the US, UK, EU, and Asia. Refer to the Spec section for more details.
Q: What is the overall power output if I turn everything to the highest setting?
A: The total power output will be about 900W.
Q: Will the mounting bracket fall from overhead?
A: Nope! If you look at the accessories section, you can see how the mounting bracket (board) works.
Q: What if I don't have a headboard?
A: A wall mount will be provided (comes in the box).
Q: Do I get the bed headboard mounting board?
A: The only accessory that comes with the package is the mounting kit. Before we ship, other accessories will be available in the survey.
Q: I don't want Alexa or Google Assistant in my room!
A: No worries! You don't need to connect either of them, unless you have them set to your Haxson's default.
Q: Where can I buy the filter?
A: You can get filters later on our site. We will send you a survey before shipping. Please stay tuned!
